Copper Sulphate

Few chemicals have as long or as broad a service record as copper sulphate. In the field it is the copper half of Bordeaux mixture and a corrective micronutrient; in the plating shop it is the backbone of the acid copper bath; in ponds and reservoirs it holds algae in check; and in the laboratory it is the reagent behind Benedict’s and Fehling’s solutions.
